It has been way too long between updates. Summer was a good time for me to explore the media I’m familiar with, using different approaches to familiar concepts. I made a moderate amount of work over the past three months, including some commissions, and added what I thought was the upper-tier pieces to both the illustration and fine art galleries. As previously mentioned, I spent a longer time on each piece, focusing on development of process. Check out the new pieces in both the Fine Art & Illustration galleries!

What else did I do this summer? I moved! After two years of apartment life, I decided to end my lease (and got ripped off by my landlord). I’ve settled down on the second floor of a turn-of-the-century house near downtown DeKalb; for my last year of school at Northern Illinois University. I also frequently drank a lot of whiskey and sat on the porch of the house I now live in.

Personally, a lot to look forward to in the coming months. As a visitor to my site, you also have a few things to look forward to:
-
-More frequent and portfolio-based updates to both galleries
-Another collaborative piece— this time illustration-based
-The release of editioned prints— the first time in over two years
-The possible development and launch of an in-site store*

Thank you to my visitors. The site is slowly gaining a larger following and that’s always good to see. The idea this fall is to give you more reasons to take a look.
